The Phoenix Suns are on a run that seems unstoppable. They have won five straight playoff games and are strengthening their gameplay in each game.

The Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets 123-98 in the second game of the Western Conference second-round series taking a 2-0 lead. Though the Suns have been on fire, Paul was reminding his teammates of how the Nuggets came back from a 3-1 deficit. The way the Suns have been playing looks like it can push them on the road to the Finals. “They are playing better than us. They are making shots, being more aggressive, finding the open man. It looks real bad out there. We need to change everything,” Nikola Jokic said.

“There was a reason that their crowd was yelling ”Suns in four!” and they are calling for a sweep because if we play like this in Denver, this is going to be a really quick series,” Denver Nuggets coach Micheal Malone said.

“I’m telling you…I really haven’t been on a team quite like this one,” Paul said after scoring 17 points with 15 assists and no turnovers in Game 2. It has been several years since a player had a postseason game with 15 assists and no turnovers but Chris Paul did just that. “Obviously 15 assists, zero turnovers is unheard of but for Chris Paul, it’s a thing that he does, and makes it look normal,” Devin Booker said. Booker ended the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.

In addition to the great team dynamics, the Phoenix Suns have top notch fans and an unbeatable atmosphere which seems to be contributing to their success. “Right now I want to talk about all of you, the fans, because that crowd last night in Phoenix, salute to you. You’re special. Loud. Into every possession. Passion that came oozing through the screen….Just pure energy. Positivity. Excitement. Last night’s Phoenix crowd was the best atmosphere we’ve seen at an NBA game in a year and a half.” Smith said on his Stephen A’s World Show.
